The Directors and Committee of Waunarlwydd RFC are pleased to confirm that the development of the new clubhouse has at last commenced. Planning was obtained seven years ago and it has taken that time to address the planning conditions and engage a suitable developer. The developer, Topgrade Homes Ltd., have demolished the old stand and have constructed the retaining walls; they hope to complete the whole development by the end of the 2022-2023 season. The Computer generated image shows the view of the proposed development over three floors.
The pitch level will host the dressing rooms, gym and storage facilities. The ground floor level will host the bar area, with balcony views over both pitches. The first floor will have a function room , again with balconies that will overlook the pitches. This function room will be available for hire, and will be able to cater for conferences, training , weddings and such events.
